Shades of Glory is an ongoing campus halaqa series and has been one of the longest running collaborative projects between the UofA MSA and NYMiNK, of which Dr. Syed is a guest lecturer. The halaqa has covered many different topics in the past but has a strong focus on discussing Islamic History and learning from the stories of the Prophet (saw) and the Sahaba (ra).
Shades of Glory is a series meant to help university students gain perspective from Qur'an and Sunnah and to learn how to use the intelligence that Allah (swt) has given us in the best and most meaningful way. It teaches students how to gain understanding and hope from the past and on how to use Islam in every part of their lives to be successful in not only their studies but in all aspects of their lives.
